Before your first conversation
What can I try for free?
Choose an original character or upload your own image, pick a voice and scene, and preview the image and opening. Sign in to save your settings. Five free text replies are also available below. A static preview does not include live animation or voice.
How does the $4.99 purchase work?
One payment adds up to five minutes of video time to your AIVideoChat account. There is no subscription. Your first 30-second call is free for each verified account. Checkout is handled by our VibeAha store through Stripe, so VibeAha may appear on the payment page and your card statement.
What happens if I end a call early?
A call reserves the time limit you select. Connected time is counted in six-second intervals. When the call ends, unused reserved time returns to your balance for later calls. Preparation and connection waiting do not use your time.
Do I need to use my camera?
No. You speak through your microphone and see the AI character. Your camera stays off. Check microphone permission before buying time. A stable connection and headphones can help keep the conversation clear.
What images can I use?
Use one clear, front-facing adult or fictional character that you have rights to. Our original example characters are available to use here. Upload JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB and at least 128 pixels on each side. Avoid group photos, obscured faces and tiny images.
Does my character remember previous calls?
Your saved image, voice, direction and opening are reused. The character does not carry memories from past conversations into a new call. You can add relevant background to Advanced settings yourself.
Where are my images and conversations stored?
Before saving, your edited draft stays in this browser for up to 30 minutes, so signing in or opening the email verification link in a new tab does not lose it. Saved character images are private to your account. Live processing uses Runway; conversation data is handled as described in our privacy policy. Delete a saved character from the workspace to remove its image and request associated provider-data cleanup.
What if payment or a connection fails?
Return to the homepage to check your balance, recent calls and receipts before paying again. The app reconciles payment returns and repeated callbacks. If an order is pending or a connection needs review, contact support with the order reference shown in your account.
